The Church played in Auckland recently as part of their Starfish 30th Anniversary Tour. My shots weren’t quite as dynamic as i would have liked so i’ve had a go at converting them to black and white for something a little different. you can see the original set over at Getty Images here

Any Unknown Mortal Orchestra is special. Last time i saw them was New Year’s eve at the beginning of this year as part of the Wondergarden festival. The time before that was during the temporary reopening of the St James theatre. I love The Miltones. They play uplifting and upbeat americana and seem to be totally enjoying themselves when playing live. I’ve seen them a few times and they never disappoint. They were the perfect support for Tami Neilson at her recent concert at the Auckland Town Hall.
